Our Western diesel Father’s Day card shows a maroon Class 52 “Western” locomotive powering along a country line, with sunbeams breaking through the clouds and long summer grass beside the track. “Happy Father’s Day” is written across the sky, with “Hubbie” below the train.
The Westerns were the last great diesel-hydraulics of the Western Region and still draw crowds on heritage lines today, so this is a lovely pick for dads who grew up watching them or who love a day out on a preserved railway. This version is for hubbie.
