A small robin keeps watch from the top of a weathered wooden cross in this religious Christmas card, its red breast bright against a deep blue night. Holly, pine cones and a softly glowing lantern gather at the foot of the cross, while far off the Star of Bethlehem shines down on a snow covered village church.
It is a gentle, hopeful design for Christians who want their cards to point back to the birth of Jesus, and the familiar robin makes it just as welcome with friends and family of any background. This version is for loved ones who live far away.
Inside and out
- Front: “Merry Christmas” in gold lettering, with “Across the Miles” beneath
- Inside: “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.” Matthew 2:10, followed by “Wishing you a Blessed Christmas”
Make it special
There is plenty of room below the verse for a handwritten note, a short prayer or a favourite memory from the year. For relatives you only see at Christmas, tuck in a recent family photo.
