Our Mallard steam train birthday card pays tribute to the LNER Class A4 that Sir Nigel Gresley designed and which entered service in 1938. Famous for its sleek streamlined body, Mallard reached 126mph and remains the fastest steam locomotive in the world. The artwork celebrates that graceful shape and a proud piece of British railway history.
Ideal for railway enthusiasts, heritage line volunteers, model railway fans and anyone who loves the golden age of steam. The design comes in versions for lots of different people, so it suits birthdays right across the family and circle of friends. This version is for father.
