A good Burns supper usually ends with a dram, so give every glass somewhere smart to sit. These thick card coasters have a bold watercolour thistle on one side and a pattern of little thistles on the other, so they look good whichever way up they land.
They are sturdy enough to use all evening, then simply recycle them when the party is over. No washing up and no plastic.
Perfect for
Burns Night tables, whisky tastings, St Andrew’s Day dinners, Hogmanay parties, Scottish weddings and ceilidhs, as well as pubs, hotels and venues hosting a Burns supper.
Styling ideas
- Wording: Set one at every place for drinks, or pop a few by the bar for the whisky toast.
- Colour scheme: heather purple, soft thistle green and a little tartan look lovely with the thistle design. Try them in ribbons, napkins, candles or a sprig of heather on each place setting.
- Goes well with: our Scottish Thistle place cards, menu cards, gift tags and envelope seals.
